ALEXIS: I’m all about the charm of Capitol Hill for a date. You’ve got the museums and there’s nothing like strolling through the National Gallery or the Library of Congress, getting lost in history. If you want to mix it up, Gravelly Point Park is great for a little outdoor fun—watching the planes take off over the river never gets old.
EMMANUAL: DC Comedy Loft is a favorite, and it’s always a good time. For a more laid-back vibe, Busboys and Poets has great food and an even better atmosphere for some deep conversation. If you’re looking for a lively night, The Park at 14th brings all the energy.
CAITLYN: I’m a big fan of walking around the Capitol—it’s such a stunning spot, especially when the sun sets. Eastern Market makes for a more laid-back day date—there’s so much to explore. If you want cozy vibes, then Maman and Yellow Cafe never disappoint. And Tatte Bakery? You can’t go wrong with their pastries.
Q: Favorite neighborhood?
ALEXIS: It’s tough to pick just one, but I’d have to say Downtown DC. It’s got this big-city feel with amazing food on every corner. There’s always something going on, and I love the energy there.
CAITLYN: Capitol Hill is definitely my go-to. It’s one of the more historic neighborhoods but it still feels vibrant. The views, the food, and the architecture, it’s all stunning.
EMMANUAL: Union Market. It has this cool vibe with tons of food options and a lively atmosphere. Plus, there’s always something new to discover there.

CAITLYN: Dating in DC can feel a little crazy at times, but if you can push through the noise, you can still find a connection that feels authentic.
