These early days of 2019 will be among the most active for digital daters, with millions of Bumble users expected to go on first dates this weekend, the second of the new year.
Given the nature of online dating, these first encounters are often between two people with no mutual friends, acquaintances, or colleagues.
With this in mind, Bumble has teamed up with RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, to share helpful safety tips and resources as users look to make new connections online and off.
Check out this video featuring our chief brand officer, Alex Williamson, dispensing RAINN’s advice for staying safe when meeting digitally and in person.
