ID Verification

Get ID verified to help others feel more confident that you’re really you. We use your ID to check your age and photo.

What IDs will Bumble accept?

  • Passport
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Residence Permit
  • Any Government-issued ID that includes a photo and a date of birth

How do we protect your privacy? 

We only use the data needed to verify your age and confirm your identity. We work with an external partner, Veriff, who will delete your biometric data within 30 days (most data is deleted within 3 days). This helps us confirm your verification when needed. We keep a copy of your selfie, but we do not store your ID photo.

Can I filter matches by verification status? 

Yes, you can filter matches who are both photo verified and ID verified. If you turn on the "Verified Profiles" option in Advanced Filters, you'll see both photo verified and ID verified members in Encounters.
