Taylor, what stood out about Patrick’s profile?
I got a true sense of Patrick’s sense of humor from his bio, including being on the hunt for LA’s best quesadilla. He looked artsy yet manly in his man-bun pictures.
Patrick, what stood out about Taylor’s profile?
Taylor was a LA transplant, just like me, so we instantly had that in common. She looked beautiful and adventurous in her pictures. Specifically, she had a picture doing a handstand at the top of Enchanted Rock and another picture from her college graduation where she was heavily decorated in honors cords.
What was said on the “first move” on Bumble?
The true “first move” was when Patrick extended an additional 24 hours to Taylor. Taylor then reached out to Patrick, saying a simple hi with a smile emoji, which Patrick interpreted as really endearing. We spoke first about our mutual love of Game of Thrones and continued a playful banter from there.
How long did you talk before deciding to go on a date?
We had our first date the day after we started talking.
Where did you go on your first date?
We went to dinner in the Hollywood area then walked around, barhopping at a few places.
When did you know that Taylor was your person?
I knew that Taylor was my person by the end of the first date.
When did you know that Patrick was your person?
We just clicked after our first date, but I completely knew that Patrick was my person after the first week. On our second date, we took a mini road trip to Malibu where we climbed up some sand dunes that we sprinted down, walked on the beach, and hiked to a (barely trickling) waterfall. For our third date, Patrick took me to the planetarium show at Griffith Observatory, which was incredible. And for our forth date (all in the first week), Patrick took me to an artist’s show at an eclectic art gallery.
