While summer’s in full swing, Bumble daters are still cautious following an unprecedented, scary year. In a recent survey, 54% of people using the app worldwide said they feel more safety-conscious than before the pandemic. And 30% of U.S.-based users described COVID-19 vaccination as essential, saying they wouldn’t consider going on a date or getting intimate with someone unvaccinated.

Bumble wants to do its part, both to help our community feel comfortable getting back out there and to encourage as many people as possible to get their COVID vaccines. We’ve launched an “I’m Vaccinated” badge, enabling our community to let potential matches know their vaccination status right on their profile.
