Access Free Trauma Support for Sexual Assault Survivors Through Bumble And Badoo With Bloom

Sexual assault and domestic violence are worldwide public health crises, with one in four women and one in 10 men experiencing physical, emotional, sexual, or psychological abuse.

We want to do our part to support survivors of sexual harassment, assault and relationship abuse. That’s why Bumble Inc’s Bumble and Badoo apps have teamed up with Bloom to provide free online trauma support to our community, including one-on-one chat, on-demand courses, resources created by survivors and trauma-informed therapists—and, in some cases, six therapy sessions.

Bumble and Badoo offer complimentary online trauma support via Bloom’s team, a continuation and expansion of a pilot program that began in December 2021. The service is available in English and Spanish, French, Hindi, Portuguese, and will be launching in German in 2023. The program is available to our global community, no matter where they are located.

Bloom is run by Chayn, a worldwide nonprofit run by survivors and allies to inform and support the healing of survivors of gender-based violence. Its online resources and services are trauma-informed, intersectional, multi-lingual, and feminist. Chayn’s services have been created intentionally for survivors, by survivors.
