We know location is foundational to building awesome connections on Bumble so if it’s not showing up correctly, we’re here to help! Follow the troubleshooting steps below depending on your device.
iOS:
- Open your device's Settings app
- Select “Privacy”
- Select "Location Services"
- Select the On/Off switch to turn location off
- Restart your device (power off and on)
- Open your device's Settings app
- Select “Privacy" followed by "Location Services" again
- Tap the On/Off switch to turn the location on.
- Reopen the Bumble app
If that doesn’t work, you try these next troubleshooting steps:
- Open your phone Settings
- Select "Privacy"
- Select "Location Services"
- Select "Bumble"
- Select "Ask Next Time"
- When you open the Bumble app it'll immediately show where you are right now and prompt you to re-enter your Location Services preference. We recommend "While Using the App"
Android:
- Delete the Bumble app and re-download it
- Check to make sure your phone's location services are turned on for Bumble. Each Android phone works slightly different, but these instructions should help
- Restart your phone by turning it off and back on
