How do I Photo Verify?
Show potential matches you’re the real deal by photo verifying. It’ll give them confidence that you’re the same great person IRL as you are in your profile photos.
To verify your photo, tap either the Verify button in your own profile or another person’s verified badge.
Then, take a selfie mimicking the random pose you see on your screen and send the selfie to Bumble by following the simple steps.
We’ll then use a combination of automated and human review to check your selfie matches the person in your profile photos, and within a few minutes, your verification will be confirmed or denied.
Why have I been asked to Photo Verify?
From time to time, we require members to verify their photos. Typically, we do this to ensure that an account is not fake or operated by a robot, or if we have a suspicion that the member may be under 18 years of age. We use an automated process and human moderators to identify that you are a real person and old enough to use Bumble.
The selfie submitted to verify your photos is stored in our system along with any other photos you've uploaded onto the app. Don't worry, this photo won't be shown on your profile and it won't be visible to any of your profile visitors. We collect and use your photo for verification purposes on the basis of our legitimate interests identified in our Privacy Policy.
If you have issues with photo verifying your account or believe your account has been blocked inappropriately, please contact our friendly Support Team here.
