[Note: This feature is currently only available for people located in California.]
Want to make yourself stand out as soon as you match with someone on Bumble? Now you can with our Reactions feature! Here’s how it works:
If you have the ability to make the first move, you’ll now be able to react and comment on someone’s photos or profile prompts. Using reactions will also count as your first move so once you match the other person will be able to take it from there.
If you don’t have first move privileges, you’ll still be able to react to a user’s photos and profile prompts using emojis. However, your reaction will only be revealed after the other user has swiped right, commented, or reacted to your profile in some way.
Reacting to a profile on the app can be done in two easy steps:
- Swipe up on the photo or profile prompt that you want to react to on someone’s Bumble profile.
- Choose your reaction or send a comment (if you have first move privileges).
Note for users on Bumble Web: If you are using Bumble web, you will be able to see reactions someone has sent you, but you will not be able to send them. Reactions can only be sent if you are using the Bumble app.
