Your personal details may change over time, or need updating to reflect your true self. Here's how you can update your name, age, or gender on Bumble: 

Updating your name and age

Right now, there isn't a way for you to change your name or age yourself, but our support team is happy to help. 

Just send us a message with your name or correct age, and we’ll take care of the rest. To help us find your account quickly, please include your User ID. You can find this by going to Settings, scrolling to the bottom, and double-tapping the Bumble logo.

For age change requests, we’ll need to verify your correct date of birth. When you reach out, please also include:

• The date of birth you’d like us to update your profile to
• A clear photo of a government-issued ID (like a passport or driver’s license) that shows your name and date of birth

Updating your gender

You can update your gender anytime, right in the app:

• Open your profile and select ‘Edit profile’
• Scroll down ‘about you’ and find ‘gender’
• Choose the option that feels right for you. If you’d like, you can also add more about your gender here too
• You can also choose whether to show your gender on your profile, or keep it private
• Once you’re done, select ‘Save and close’
